Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: Open only to registered attendees of the University of Toronto Sponsorship Fair who are legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, and who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. Employees, agents, representatives, and immediate family or household members of RFL Wealth are not eligible to enter or win. 

Contest Period: The contest opens on August 19, 2026, when the Sponsorship Fair begins, and closes strictly at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 19, 2026 (the “Contest Period”).

Eligible attendees can enter digitally by completing and submitting the official electronic entry form available through the RFL Wealth activation at the Sponsorship Fair. 

Additional entries may be earned by completing eligible activities identified at the RFL Wealth activation, including landing on a bonus-entry option when participating in the event activity. All bonus entries must be recorded by an RFL Wealth team member during the Contest Period to be considered valid. 

Limit of one initial entry per person. Any available bonus entry opportunities are subject to the instructions and limits communicated at the activation. 

No purchase, payment, financial commitment, or business transaction is required to enter or win. 

Providing consent to receive marketing communications from RFL Wealth is optional and is not required to enter the contest or win the prize. Choosing not to subscribe, or unsubscribing at a later date will not affect an entrant’s chances of winning. 

Incomplete, duplicate, late, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of RFL Wealth. 

Digital Draw: One (1) potential winner will be selected through a randomized digital draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. 

Draw Timing and Location: The draw will be conducted by representatives of RFL Wealth after the Contest Period closes and no later than September 18, 2026. 

Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received, including valid bonus entries, during the Contest Period. 

Winner Notification: The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address or telephone number provided on their entry form. RFL Wealth is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete contact information. 

The selected entrant must respond within three (3) business days of the first notification attempt. If the entrant does not respond within that period, cannot be contacted, does not meet the eligibility requirements, incorrectly answers the required skill-testing question, or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, they will be disqualified and another potential winner may be selected. 

The winner will be selected and contacted by September 18, 2026.

To be declared the official winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance or mechanical aid, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by RFL Wealth. 

Failure to answer the question correctly will result in disqualification, and another potential winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries. 

The Prize: One (1) $5,000 CAD Future Doctor Fund prize, with a total retail value of $5,000 CAD. 

The prize will be issued to the confirmed winner by cheque, electronic transfer, or another payment method determined by RFL Wealth. 

The prize must be accepted as awarded. It cannot be transferred or assigned to another person, substituted by the winner, or increased in value. RFL Wealth reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its reasonable control. 

Any costs or expenses associated with accepting or using the prize that are not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Before receiving the prize, the selected entrant may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility, compliance with these Terms and Conditions, and acceptance of the prize. 

Where legally permitted, the confirmed winner may also be asked to provide consent for RFL Wealth to announce their name, city of residence, educational year, photograph, or likeness in connection with the contest. Any promotional use beyond announcing the winner will be subject to the winner’s consent. 

Personal information collected in connection with the contest will be used to administer the contest, verify eligibility, contact the selected entrant, award the prize, and meet RFL Wealth’s legal and regulatory obligations. 

If an entrant separately provides express consent to receive marketing communications, RFL Wealth may also use their contact information to send financial education, physician-focused resources, corporate news, and promotional communications. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time. 

RFL Wealth reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who attempts to interfere with the entry process, submit fraudulent entries, obtain entries through unauthorized means, or otherwise violate these Terms and Conditions. 

RFL Wealth may cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the contest if fraud, technical failure, human error, or another circumstance beyond its reasonable control affects the integrity or proper administration of the contest. 

By entering, each entrant agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions and accepts the decisions of RFL Wealth regarding the administration of the contest as final, subject to applicable law. 

The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. 

The contest is sponsored and administered solely by RFL Wealth. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the University of Toronto.
